This week Next on the Tee with Chris Mascaro is legendary broadcaster Mr. Ben Wright. Mr. Wright was the signature voice on CBS TV's golf coverage for 23 years. He started in broadcasting just after World War II and he's talked with every prominent figure in the game of golf in the modern era; from Bobby Jones to Tiger Woods. Now in his 80's he remains connected to the game through regular appearnaces on Matt Adam's show "The Fairways of Life" on Sirius/XM PGA Tour Radio. As he said to prior to the show, "Chris, I don't have much of a future but I've got a hell of a past." Tune in to hear him share more of his stories as he makes a return visit to Next on the Tee. This week Next on the Tee with Chris Mascaro is The Voice of Golf, Peter Kessler. Peter has interviewed almost every significant golf figure of the modern era. In the early to mid 90's he was the Voice of HBO Sports.He moved on to become the primary broadcasting talent when The Golf Channel launched back in January of 1995. He's also hosted his own show on Sirius/XM's PGA Channel, narrated and hosted numerous golf videos like "A Game For Life" with Gary Player and "The Peter Kessler Show" is available to stream or download on iTunes... Next on the Tee with Chris Mascaro this week is PGA Tour Pro and Top Instructor Dave Stockton Jr. Dave was an All-American golfer at USC making it 3 generations of Stocktons achieving that honor there. He palyed on the Web.com and PGA Tours from 1993-2006 and had a combined 19 Top 10 finishes. He's now a top instructor, partnering with his father and brother at Stockton Golf. This week Next on the Tee with Chris Mascaro is PGA Tour Legend Dave Stockton. Mr. Stockton is from San Bernardino, California. He attended the University of Southern California...and earned his bachelor's degree in general management. In 1964 he won the PAC-10 men's golf individual title and was an All-American. Later that year he turned Pro. His first PGA Tour victory came in 1967 at the Colonial National Invitational. He has 24 wins on Tour, 10 on the PGA Tour including the 1970 and 1976 PGA Championships and 14 wins on the Champions Tour including 3 majors, the '92 & '94 Senior Players Championship and the '96 US Senior Open. Mr. Stockton is widely known as a putting genius. His book "Unconscious Putting" has gotten 4.5 Stars on Amazon.com and is a must read for every golfer... He has also been featured on the BBC, ESPN, the Golf Channel, PGA Tour Entertainment, European Tour Productions and now the Back 9 Network. He is also the author of 10 books including several in the Chicken Soup for the Soul series and his Fairways of Life book which I have sitting right here next to me. He has interviewed virtually every living legend.
