On this Veterans Day Special of Next on the Tee I'm joined by PGA Tour SuperStore and Class A Teaching Professional Tim Wilkes. Tim is also on the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Chapter of the Adaptive Golf Association which specializes in teaching the game to our wounded Veterans.
We start our conversation by learning about Tim's own struggles dealing with Muscular Dystrophy which was discovered when he was 13. His challenge to overcome his own disability plus his love of the game has led him to focus his life on helping wounded Veterans learn or re-learn how to play golf. He shares his processes and techniques for reaching and improving the lives of Veterans struggling with physical limitations or the effects of PTSD and how the game has positively impacted their lives.
