This week on Next on the Tee I get reactions from the US Open from Honorary Starter and one of the most decorated PGA Professionals of all-time Bob Ford plus our resident Director of Instruction Tom Patri.
Tom Patri shares his thoughts on the US Open, how Winged Foot played, Bryson DeChambeau's win, and a look ahead to The Masters.
Bob Ford was the Head Golf Pro at Oakmont Country Club for 37 years. He has simultaneously been the Head Professional at Seminole Golf Club during that time. He has been the Honorary Starter at the US Open over the last 4 years. He shares his thoughts about this year's tournament plus stories of playing with the legends of the game including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan, Ben Crenshaw, Jay Sigel and many others. Including how Ben Hogan used to get a stroke a side from Amateur Bob Sweeney when Hogan used to go down to Seminole GC to start practicing for The Masters.
Richard Zokol talks about his new app Mind Trak Golf that helps us detach emotionally from score and focus solely on executing the next shot. He also shares stories about his experience playing in the 2000 US Open that Tiger won by 15 strokes and the front nine 30 he shot during the final round, plus what it was like receiving his first invitation to The Masters following his victory in the Greater Milwaukee Open.

Alison talks about how to overcome the hole that you struggle with every time you play a particular course. She also shares a drill that you can do with a towel to improve shifting your weight and an incredibly easy putting drill that drastically improved my stroke.
