John Mascari, Head Golf Professional at Alpine Country Club, Joins Me...

My long lost cousin (not really) John Mascari, Head Golf Professional at Alpine Country Club in New Jersey and the Co-Host of the On The Tee golf show, joins me.
During the lockdown time in New Jersey John did a series of videos with his family called Live from John's Backyard, where he shared some of his favorite playing lessons. You can find them on his Twitter page @johnmascaripga. They are fantastic! During our conversation, John shares tips for how to hit a high chip shot that lands softly. He takes us through the process of how to choose between hitting a low running chip or a more lofted shot. He also shares why you should soften your grip on those shots versus using the same grip on every shot.

Doc shares his insights into how to stay in the present and keep our minds from time traveling back to the bad shots we've hit or projecting forward into what we're on pace to score today if we just made X on the next few holes.
