On this episode of Next on the Tee we look back at the Masters and get reactions from "The Voice of Golf" Peter Kessler plus former PGA Tour Pro, now Broadcaster for Sirius/XM's PGA Tour channel, Paul Stankowski. I'm also joined by Ben Hogan Golf CEO Scott White and we talked about their return to the golf equipment business business plus details about their PTx and Fort Worth irons as well as their new Forged Edge irons and Equalizer wedges.

Gary Player joined me on Masters Saturday and shared his stories from 60+ years of being a part of the Masters tournament and the longevity he and Jack Nicklaus had. He told stories about how great Ben Hogan and Sam Snead were plus the brilliance of Bobby Jones. He talked about the importance of diet and exercise, shared his thoughts on who will win this year's tournament plus who he thinks the greatest golfer of all-time is.

On this episode of Next on the Tee I'm joined by Top 100 Golf Instructor Eric Johnson, Champions Tour Pro Bob Friend Jr., and one of the great caddies of all-time and Founder of Caddy for a Cure Russ Holden.
Eric shared his thoughts on the notion that the USGA and R&A need to dial back the golf ball. He also talked about Tiger's comeback and who he expects to see in the final twosomes on Sunday at the Masters.
Bob shared some thoughts for how to shake the rust off our golf swings, his memories from the 1999 Arnold Palmer Invitational when he was paired with Seve Ballesteros and Arnold Palmer, plus memories of shooting his low round on Tour, a 63, at the 2003 Wichita Open.
Russ updated us on the great things they're doing at Caddy for a Cure. They have caddy opportunities coming up th Bryson DeChambeau, jason Bohn and Rory McIlroy. He also shared memories from caddying for Bernhard Langer at Augusta National and why that's one of the most difficult events to caddie in.

Donnie shared his thoughts on the golf ball controversy and if it makes sense to have one ball for Tour players and a different ball for the rest of us. He also shared memories from his times playing in the 1986 Masters and how a putt putt course near his house helped prepare him for putting on those greens. Donnie also gave us a tip for how to improve your chipping.
Olin Browne talked about his season so far on the Champions Tour, memories from his times playing in The Masters, his 40 foot chip in to defeat Larry Mize at the 1998 Hartford Open plus memories from his victory at the 2011 US Senior Open.
Eric Meeks shared his memories of playing his college golf at the University of Arizona, what it was like being a part of the 1989 US Walker Cup team with Phil Mickelson, his experience playing in the 1989 Masters, his conversation with Byron Nelson and Sam Snead and more recently playing in the 2016 US Senior Open Championship at Scioto Country Club.

We talked about his 2 wins over Tiger Woods at the World Match Play Tournaments in 2005 and 2007 and what the key is to beating Tiger. We also talked about his book "Tour Mentality...Inside the Mind of a Tour Pro."

Rob shared his stories from this year's PGA Mercahndise Show including some of the cool new products he saw there. We also got a couple of new cool putting drills to try, some tips on how to improve our mental approach by doing less negative self talk, and hear about his conversations with Hal Sutton and Brad Faxon.

I'll get an update from Andy regarding what's on tap this year for the Bobby Jones brand and how much they continue to partner with Augusta National and The Masters. I'll talk with Jack about being a ski instructor in the winter and a Head Golf Pro in the Spring, Summer and Fall. We'll go all the back to his time at the University of Scranton where he was a member of their Division III National Championship basketball team as well as a a part of their golf team. He's a well rounded athlete and we'll talk about all of that plus get a tip or two to lower our scores.

Ron Sirak shares his thoughts on new rule that golf viewers can no longer call in regarding rules violations. He talks about the Lexi Thompson rules and and some of the breaks John Rohm has received. He shard memories of Bob Dylan being a golfer, Ben Hogan's achievements that get overlooked too often now, his favorite Masters memories, and the biography he wrote about Greg Norman.
Kathleen O'Dell talked about why great athletes are more bothered by the mistakes they made or games they lost versus the wins they were a part of. Now that she's no longer with Nike, she shared which clubs are now in her bag and which golf balls she plays. She also shared her favorite experiences in golf and her favorite courses to play.

He talked about why it's important for golfers of all skill levels to get fit for their clubs, and how they will lso fit you for the right golf ball. We also talked about how important the customer relationship is to them, not just getting a sale.
