Former Hockey All-Star Turned Caddie Dan Quinn & the Founder & CEO of Frogger Golf, Jeremiah Bohannon

On this episode of Next on the Tee with Chris Mascaro hear former NHL star and Celebrity Tour Champion Dan Quinn and the Founder and CEO of Frogger Golf Jeremiah Bohannon.

I talked with Dan about his time caddying for Ernie Els particularly during Ernie's victory at the 1994 US Open at Oakmont and at The Masters. Dan also shared the story about the day he upstaged Ernie when he was more sought after by reporters than Ernie at the Canadian Open. I also got his thoughts on the Penguins run to the Stanley Cup.

Jeremiah shared the story about how he founded Frogger Golf and what the ah ha moment was for him that he could make better products than were already out on the market. We also talked about their "Catch Latch" technology, the innovations they've made to the golf bag and the challenges of building a brand in the super competitive golf industry.

Paul Stankowski - Hear Paul talk about his recent heart attack that came on at age 46, what happened leading up to it, how doctors attended to him and how he's dealing with it going forward. We also looked ahead to the US Open and whether we'll see him playing on the Champions Tour in a few years.

Shaun Micheel - Shaun too had a heart attack a couple years ago. We talked about his warning signs and recovery. We also talked about his upcoming start in the Fedex St. Jude's Classic in June and more about his memories from winning the 2003 PGA Championship at Oak Hill.

We'll see if players are already coming in to play practice rounds and what words of advice would he give them about how to be sucessful playing Oakmont during US Open conditions.

Dennis Cone - Dennis is the founder of the Professional Caddie's Association and a member of Caddie Hall of Fame. We'll talk about the Caddy Hall of Fame, his years being on the bag and who some of his favorite players have been. We'll also talk about the education and training the PCA has given to the 22,500 students who have joined since 1997.

On this episode of Next on the Tee with Chris Mascaro, my guests were: 2 time World Long Driving Champion and participant on the Golf Channels Big Break 8 Gerry James and LPGA Top 50 Instructor and founder of Golf Positive Debbie O'Connell. 

Gerry James - I talked with Gerry about the mechanics of the golf swing so we can generate more power for longer drives. We also talked about his bodybuilding career and Mr. California title back in 1990. He shared his experience competing on The Golf Channel's Big Break 8 plus he shared fitness tips to help us keep our bodies from breaking down.

Debbie O'Connell -  Debbie is not only a great swing instructor, she's also a great mental coach. She shared advice she'd give Jordan Spieth following his collapse at the Masters. When our minds get cluttered with negative thoughts what can we do to slow down and recover? What would she tell Jordan to do the next time he finds himself in a similar situation so those negative thoughts don't creep back in? She shared her mental coaches tips plus a couple of tips on how to improve our short games.
